| Posted in Episodes |

Note:

This weeks episode will be held on Friday. See info below.

Overview

cfpanel episode 3

In this episode we'll talk about ColdFusion as a language moving forward. This topic was inspired by the 2nd day keynote given by Joe Rinehart at CFUnited this year. In this panel we will discuss how ColdFusion came to fame, where the language is currently and what lies ahead. I think its important subject for all ColdFusion developers and we are lucky to have a really great group on the panel this week so don't be late!

Any chance this session can be recorded? I'm sure there are a lot of people in the community who are interested in this episode but can't make the time.

Yes! We will have a connect recording available sometime tomorrow and we may have an experimental mp3 available through iTunes. I am still working out the process for that but I will let everyone know tomorrow if it was successful.

Hey Dan,

I plan on being there for the live conversation. Thanks for looking into the iTunes option. That would be pretty cool to have for later.

Hey Todd, thanks for posting the recording :-)
It was a very interesting episode. Though would have been cool if it could have be 2 hours... so much to cover in so little time. Looking forward to a part 2 of this topic in the future.

PS: You guys are doing a great job for the community - keep it up :-)

No matter where you are, boredom is one of the worst things ever. But, arguably, the worst place you can be bored is at work.
Boredom at work is the result of several things. Maybe your company is http://www.toppowerlevel.net scaling back on hiring and, maybe, your responsibilities. Maybe you're an entry-level worker and your boss doesn't trust you enough yet to give you actual work. Or maybe your job is just tedious and you're totally uninterested in your tasks.
Whatever the reason, it's time to make a change. When you spend 40-plus hours doing mind-numbing work, you're bound to be miserable.

Hi there…I am almost exactly one month behind you as I had surgery Dec. 4 in Miami Beach, FL. The warm weather helps and http://www.toppowerlevel.net I certainly don’t have to deal with snow or ice. Question: On your second visit to the doc, did he give you the instruction to do weight bearing at your own pace or with specific limits, and if so, what were they? I am scheduled for Jan 20 visit when I am expected to do wb with crutches. Also, how early did you do exercises, massages, and PT? Finally, when did you start ice?
I appreciate any answers you give me.
Thanks,
Eric

thanks so much for what you do! it may be just a hobby for you, but I want you to know that you really help people by doing this. I could hardly imagine that I'd be able to make anything of it, let's say, a year ago! but after reading a lot (after all the books and tutorials I downloaded by http://www.picktorrent.com along with following your blog and some others) I can state that I almost liked this episode. it's really never too late to learn!
